One of the most beautiful regions of Northern Ireland, the Ards Peninsula boasts many historic and scenic attractions from Scrabo Tower in the north to Portaferry at the southern end with its popular car ferry and of course Exploris, the aquarium. Strangford lough hosts a huge range of marine life, wildlife and bird life and is also very popular for water sports and leisure.
From the eastern side we have Ballycopeland Windmill and the E monument at Ballyhalbert marking the most easterly point in the North of Ireland.
